The Citizens' Utility Board of Oregon just launched CUB Connects, a new consumer education project that is dedicated to helping Oregonians make smart choices about phone and internet services and stay up-to-date with telecom news. The project includes a website, toll-free helpline and educational workshops. The website, www.cubconnects.org is the main feature of the project and includes a free search tool that allows consumers to compare service plans side by side without the jargon and intimidation of promotions and marketing.
