ARRA at Work
The American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) has provided significant funding for a variety of projects across the CAPO network (including this Website). Programs that received funding from ARRA include:
- Weatherization of homes for low-income individuals, families and seniors providing both warmer, more energy-efficient homes as well as jobs and training
- After School Meals and Snack Program provides nutritious snacks so that students have full stomachs, healthy bodies and are ready to learn
- Affordable housing funding to improve and modernize existing housing opportunities to families who are homeless
